Sweep or blow off surface debris — leaves, dust, and organic matter — regularly. In Singapore’s tropical environment, organic matter left on the deck surface can encourage mould or algae growth in the groove channels, particularly in shaded, humid areas.
Washing
Wash the deck with a mild detergent solution and a stiff-bristle brush 2–3 times per year, scrubbing along the groove direction to remove embedded dirt. Rinse thoroughly with water.
